MAPESAD, which represents the lubricant industrialists in the sector and is a part of the solution for the general and current problems of the sector, works to raise the standards of lubricants and petroleum products to protect producers, consumers and the environment.
Purpose of the association,
To protect human health and the environment by ensuring the determination and development of the necessary technical and administrative measures in the process from the purchase of raw materials, including imported lubricants and petroleum products, until the products reach the consumer,
To ensure the delivery of lubricants and petroleum products to consumers in accordance with the specified standards and to take initiatives to improve the standards,
To adapt to the rules of free market economy, to contribute to the protection of the rights of its members and to protect competition.
To investigate the problems in sectoral practice and to represent the sector before official authorities and relevant persons regarding the necessary administrative and legal regulations, to make suggestions and to take part in the solution. To develop strategies that will enable collaborations to be made to increase exports and to ensure that products of Turkish origin become brands sought after in the world market.
Activities of the Association;
To contribute to the protection of human health and the environment by informing both those working in the sector and consumers about the issues to be considered during the use of petroleum products.
To organize conferences, symposiums, panels by cooperating with institutions and organizations with the same purpose in order to activate and develop the activities, and to work on following and developing the technology and legislation in this way.
To work for the continuation of the activities of the enterprises in accordance with the legislation and competition rules. To carry out activities to increase solidarity in the sector.
